Robitussin Honey Cough & Cold Nighttime combines the efficacy of trusted medicine with naturally sourced honey to help you overcome your cold symptoms and get the rest you need. Medicinal Ingredients (in 20 mL):
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DM) 30mg (Cough Suppressant)
Doxylamine Succinate (DS) 12.5mg (Antihistamine)
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Carboxymethylcellulose sodium, citric acid, flavour, glycerin, honey, polyethylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sodium gluconate, sucralose, water, xantham gum, zinc gluconate
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away.
Do not use with other cough and cold drugs, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), or other drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease, or for 2 weeks after stopping the drug.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have a persistent/chronic cough (as occurs with smoking), a cough with excessive phlegm (mucus), shortness of breath or chronic lung disease (eg. asthma or emphysema) as these could be signs of a serious condition, glaucoma, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate, or if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
When using this product drowsiness or excitability may occur. Alocohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. Do not drive or engage in activities requiring alertness. Avoid alcoholic drinks.
Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days, if you develop a fever, rash or a headache that won't go away.
Adults & children 12 years and over: Using the measuring cup, take 20 mL every 6 hours. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. DO NOT USE for children under 12 years.
